i won a spot in a contest at YOUBET which requires me to make 10 $5.00 win bets at OAKLAWN over the next two cards (fri/sat). I have never entered a contest before and dont play OAKLAWN at all. There are 150 players total , and first place (best ROI) is a trip to Louisville for the Derby and Oaks....2nd and 3rd get cash ............anybody got any advice on stategy or jockeys/trainers to play or avoid at OAKLAWN ??? TX GUYS !!
The trainers who seem to rule Oaklawn are Norman, Asmussen, and Roberts. I've always thought Norman was a juicer so if you see him enter a horse that looks like it doesn't belong - watch out, it belongs. Lukas likes to ship horses over for some of the classier races and I believe has had pretty good luck recently.
